Amanda Rada Shipley 
Amanda Rada was born on January 3rd, 1850 in Hamilton Co, Tennessee.1 Amanda Rada's father was John H Shipley and her mother was Harriet Jane Varner. Her paternal grandparents were Orson Shipley and Hannah O Hunt; her maternal grandparents are William Varner and Sebrina Moulton. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Orson, William Melvin, John Moulton, Benjamin Franklin, Rachel Catherine, Hannah S and Serena Cordilia. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 79 on February 20th, 1929 in McDonald Co., Mo.1 General Notes
