Orson Shipley 
Orson was born on June 19th, 1854 in Hamilton Co, Tennessee.1 Orson's father was John H Shipley and his mother was Harriet Jane Varner. His paternal grandparents were Orson Shipley and Hannah O Hunt; his maternal grandparents are William Varner and Sebrina Moulton. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William Melvin, John Moulton, Benjamin Franklin, Rachel Catherine, Amanda Rada, Hannah S and Serena Cordilia. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 35 on September 23rd, 1889 in McDonald Co, Missouri.1 General Notes
