John Moulton Shipley 
John Moulton was born on July 1st, 1860 in Hamilton Co, Tennessee.1 John Moulton's father was John H Shipley and his mother was Harriet Jane Varner. His paternal grandparents were Orson Shipley and Hannah O Hunt; his maternal grandparents are William Varner and Sebrina Moulton. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Orson, William Melvin, Benjamin Franklin, Rachel Catherine, Amanda Rada, Hannah S and Serena Cordilia. He was the second youngest of the eight children.
