James Osmon Laughlin 
James Osmon was born on October 5th, 1850 in Washburn,McDonald County,Missouri.1 James Osmon's father was Melvin A. Laughlin and his mother was Lucretia Jane Galloway. His paternal grandparents were John Abe Laughlin and Margaret Duncan; his maternal grandfather was Jesse Galloway and his maternal grandmother is Sallie Williams. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Harvey Jasper, George Clinton, Francis M., Minerva J., Lucretia Matilda and Sarah E.. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 73 on May 8th, 1924 in Washburn,McDonald County,Missouri.1 General Notes
