Appielonia Beatrice was born on August 29th, 1869 in Scott Co., Mississippi.1 Appielonia Beatrice's father was Alvia Wiggin Keahey and her mother was Martha Sarah Smith. Her paternal grandparents were John Robert Jackson Keahey and Martha Slay. She had a brother and a sister, named Alvia Barnett and Martha Lazell. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 58 on February 16th, 1928 in Rockwall, Texas.1 General Notes
