Mattie Anna Walker

Mattie Anna was born on January 1st, 1898 in Rockwall, Texas.¹ Mattie Anna's father was Charles Jackson Walker and her mother was Appielonia Beatrice Keahey. Her maternal grandparents were Alvia Wiggin Keahey and Martha Sarah Smith. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Albert Alvia, Hubert Wallace, Edwin Ruthven, Cora Mae, Irene and Lena Beatrice. She is the third oldest of the seven children.
