Alvia Wiggin was born in 1847 in Mississippi.1   Alvia Wiggin's father was John Robert Jackson Keahey and his mother was Martha Slay.  His paternal grandparents were George Jackson Keahey and Margaret Keahey; his maternal grandparents were John Slay and Elizabeth Sumerall. He had six brothers and four sisters, named William, George Jefferson, John Thomas, James A., Joseph Henry, Benjamin Franklin, Margaret, Amanda Jane, Frances Indiana and Martha.  He died at the age of 27 on June 20th, 1874.1

‌Alvia Wiggin and Martha Sarah were married in a religious ceremony on November 1st, 1868 in Scott Co., Mississippi.1   They had a son and two daughters, named Alvia Barnett, Appielonia Beatrice and Martha Lazell.
