James Keahey 
James was born in 1802 in North Carolina.1 James' father was William MacKeahey and his mother was Margaret Unknown. He had two brothers named John and George. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 21 on September 18th, 1823 in Wayne Co., Mississippi.1 General Notes

James and Mary Jane were married in a religious ceremony in 1780 in Moore Co., North Carolina.1 They had five sons and two daughters, named James,Jr., Samuel M., John, William L., George Burder, Eleanor and Margaret.

Margaret was born on May 25th, 1799 in Richmond Co., North Carolina.1 She died at the age of 47 on May 9th, 1847 in Scott Co., Mississippi. She was buried in Hillsboro, Mississippi.1 1
