Rosalie was born on February 9th, 1875 in Hutto, Williamson, TX.1 Rosalie's father was William Barrett Travis Allen and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Snider. Her paternal grandparents were James Bud Allen and Nancy McNutt; her maternal grandparents were John Snider and Rachel Smalley. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Bud, Travis Bud, Martin Travis, Ida A., Martha Barbara, Rachel, Mary Catherine and Prudie. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 89 on March 28th, 1964 in Dallas, Dallas, TX. She was buried in Dallas, Dallas Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
