Lessie Mae Wright 
Lessie Mae was born on July 24th, 1902. Lessie Mae's father was James Edward Wright and her mother was Minnie May Davis. Her paternal grandparents were JAMES Montgomery Wright and NANCY Miller; her maternal grandparents were MORGAN William Davis and MARY Susan Steele. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Basil Edward, Holland Boyd, Mary Ethel and Blanche Morgan. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 87 on October 6th, 1989 in Princeton, Mercer Co, West Virginia.General Notes
Lessie's favorite thing to do when she was a little girl was to put a piece of wood through the fence and play see-saw.

‌Lessie Mae and Owen Riley were married in a religious ceremony on May 10th, 1919 in Rock, Mercer Co, West Virginia. They had a son and three daughters, named Owen Riley, Mildred Pauline, Carolyn Wright and Living.
Family Notes
Met at a 4-H club meeting at Lashmeet, 2 story schoolhouse. John Riley threw rocks at window and Lessie (12 years old) threw it back. John Riley told his Mother that night that he'd met the girl he was going to marry. John Riley asked Mr. Wright to take the 4-H project to his house so they could work on it and he could see Lessie. She said of course he did not tell her Daddy that part.
John Riley and Lessie had a wreck in the buggy when they were dating. Married at home and she wore a navy blue suit and high heel pumps. They lived with his parents. They moved into the house on Valleyview in 1921. Memories of Lessie May Wright, contributed by Virgie and James Griffith

Owen Riley Griffith
Owen Riley was born on November 10th, 1922 in Rock, Mercer Co, West Virginia. He died at the age of 80 on January 23rd, 2003 in Princeton, Mercer Co, West Virginia. He was buried on January 25th, 2003 in Monte Vista Park Cemetary, Green Valley, West Virginia.
Carolyn Wright Griffith
Carolyn Wright was born on November 21st, 1931 in Princeton, Mercer Co, West Virginia. She died at the age of 3 on March 19th, 1935 in Bluefield, Mercer Co,West Virginia.
