THOMAS J. Wright 
THOMAS J. was born in 1824 in Tyrone, Ireland.1 THOMAS J.'s father is FRANCIS Wright and his mother was ELIZABETH Eaton. His paternal grandparents were JOSEPH WRIGHT and SARAH LENDRUM; his maternal grandparents were JOSEPH EATON and ELIZABETH BOYD BEATTY. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John W. A., Francis M., Joseph, Oliver, David, Andrew, Margaret and Jane. He died in Mercer County, West Virginia.1 General Notes

Thomas came to Mercer county between 1850-1855. He purchased 400 acres land near his brother Joseph on Black Oak Mountain near Rock, W.Va. in 1855. Thomas was killed by a falling limb that was struck by lightning where he was clearing land, date not known. Sarah died in 1924.
Buried on home place in Mercer county , W.Va. Only two brothers are known of in Sarah's family, Montgomery, a minister in the Holston Conference (name not known), and James, a school teacher.
