JAMES Montgomery Wright 
JAMES Montgomery was born on May 5th, 1857 in Virginia.1 JAMES Montgomery's father was THOMAS J. Wright and his mother was SARAH J. CRAWFORD. His paternal grandfather is FRANCIS Wright and his paternal grandmother was ELIZABETH Eaton. He had a brother and a sister, named Elbert C. and Mary W.. James Montgomery "Tip" Wright lived at Goodwill, W.Va.when first married. He later moved to Wright Mt. community near Rock. Several of his cousins lived there also.
Tip and Nancy left and went to Texas about 1881, when the first of two children were babies, to pick cotton. They came back to Wright Mt. and Mercer county about 1883.
Tip Wright was a farmer. He and his cousins did a lot of trading around with their farms.
