NANCY Miller 
NANCY was born in 1856 in Iowa or Nebraska.1 NANCY's father was WILLOUGHBY Miller and her mother was ELIZABETH DANNER. Her paternal grandparents are WILLOUGHBY MILLER and ? EDWARDS. She had a brother named William Marion. She was the younger of the two children. She died at the age of 93 in 1949.2 3 General Notes
Nancy was an industrious woman, she whittled from wood, wove on looms and used spinning wheel. She carved on picture frames, grapes and others. She made a false tooth out of a button, made family shoes and clothes. She robbed the bee hives without a veil. She made her own bee hives.
‌NANCY and JAMES Montgomery were married in a religious ceremony in 1872 in According to 1900 census the couple reported that they had been married 28 years.3 They had nine sons and three daughters, named James Edward, Andrew Frazier, Grover Cleveland, Marvin Clyde, Eugene Blake, Pharis Lamon, Luddy Gaines, Earl, George, SARAH Elizabeth, Regina and Mary Roman.
