MORGAN William Davis 
MORGAN William was born in December 1858 in Wales.1 MORGAN William's father was WILLIAM J. DAVIES and his mother was ANN JENKINS. He had a brother and a sister, named James and Ann. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 72 on May 1st, 1931 in Rock, Mercer County, West Virginia. He was buried in Wesley Chapel Community Cemetary, Mercer County, West Virginia.1 1 General Notes
Moved to Goodwill, West Virginia in 1889 to work in a newly opened coal mine. In 1890 he purchased a farm on Wright Mountain, near Lashmeet, West Virginia. He was one of the founders of Wesley Chapel Church and served as a Methodist minister for thirty-five years.
Was seven years old when he was brought over from Wales. They settled in Ohio. They liked to sing.

‌MORGAN William and MARY Susan were married in a religious ceremony on March 4th, 1879 in Meigs County, Ohio.2 They had four sons and six daughters, named WILLIAM Morgan, James Martin, Ernest Marion, Augustus Elmer, Minnie May, Mary Eliza, Annie Rhoda, Eva Jane, Leona Elizabeth and Maggie Eunice.
