MARY Dingess 
MARY was born on September 30th, 1779 in Montgomery co. VA.1 MARY's father was JOHANNES Peter Dingess and her mother was MARY Smith. Her paternal grandparents are MICHAEL DINGESS and GERTRUDE; her maternal grandparents are Thomas Smith and Barbara Dunbar Anderson. She had four brothers and six sisters, named William, Charles Anderson, Peter, John, Elizabeth, Susannah, Ann, Sarah, Margaret and Harriett. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 47 on June 5th, 1827 in Giles Co, Virginia.2 General Notes
