Ann Dingess

Ann was born on July 9th, 1784 in Montgomery Co., Virginia.¹   Ann's father was JOHANNES Peter Dingess and her mother was MARY Smith.  Her paternal grandparents are MICHAEL DINGESS and GERTRUDE; her maternal grandparents are Thomas Smith and Barbara Dunbar Anderson. She had four brothers and six sisters, named William, Charles Anderson, Peter, John, Elizabeth, Susannah, MARY, Sarah, Margaret and Harriett.  She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 45 in 1829.¹ 

‌Ann and William were married in a religious ceremony on June 7th, 1800 in Montgomery Co., Virginia.¹   They had a daughter named Mary.
