Sarah Dingess

Sarah was born on April 13th, 1789 in Montgomery Co, Virginia.¹   Sarah's father was JOHANNES Peter Dingess and her mother was MARY Smith.  Her paternal grandparents are MICHAEL DINGESS and GERTRUDE; her maternal grandparents are Thomas Smith and Barbara Dunbar Anderson. She had four brothers and six sisters, named William, Charles Anderson, Peter, John, Elizabeth, Susannah, MARY, Ann, Margaret and Harriett.  She was the third youngest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 32 in 1821.² 

‌Sarah and John were married in a religious ceremony on August 12th, 1813 in Giles Co, Virginia.¹
