Elizabeth Thompson 
Elizabeth was born on May 14th, 1796 in Chatham Co., North Carolina.1 Elizabeth's father was Balaam Thompson and her mother was Hannah McSwane. Her paternal grandparents were William Thompson and Hannah Bell. She had three brothers and a sister, named Charles, George, Balaam McSwane and Rebecca. She was the second youngest of the five children. She had four half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named William Pharoah, Balaam, Jeremiah, James, Eleanor, Dorcas, Hannah, Rebecca, Charlotte, Mary and Ruth. She died at the age of 64 on February 26th, 1861.1 General Notes
