Charles Thompson

Charles was born after 1790 in Chatham Co., North Carolina.¹ Charles' father was Balaam Thompson and his mother was Hannah McSwane. His paternal grandparents were William Thompson and Hannah Bell. He had two brothers and two sisters, named George, Balaam McSwane, Rebecca and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the five children. He had four half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named William Pharoah, Balaam, Jeremiah, James, Eleanor, Dorcas, Hannah, Rebecca, Charlotte, Mary and Ruth. He died in 1826 in Chatham Co., North Carolina.¹
