Sarah E. was born in 1856.1 Sarah E.'s father was Sampson Gilbert Meadows and her mother was Mary Ellen Skeens. Her paternal grandparents were JORDAN Meadows and Susannah Payne. She had three brothers and a sister, named Andrew J., William Lewis, John L. and Susan E.. She was the oldest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named James, Phillip H., Emma E., Mary B. and Alwilda.1 -
