John L. Meadows

John L. was born in 1861.¹ John L.'s father was Sampson Gilbert Meadows and his mother was Mary Ellen Skeens. His paternal grandparents were JORDAN Meadows and Susannah Payne. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Andrew J., William Lewis, Sarah E. and Susan E.. He was the youngest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named James, Phillip H., Emma E., Mary B. and Alwilda.¹
