Alwilda Meadows 
Alwilda was born on December 20th, 1870 in Giles County, Virginia.1 Alwilda's father was Sampson Gilbert Meadows and her mother was Caroline Thomas. Her paternal grandparents were JORDAN Meadows and Susannah Payne. She had two brothers and two sisters, named James, Phillip H., Emma E. and Mary B.. She was the second youngest of the five children. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Andrew J., William Lewis, John L., Sarah E. and Susan E.. She died at the age of 7 on September 10th, 1878 in Mercer County, West Virginia.1 -
