Jane S. was born about 1825 in Prob Rockingham Co., Virginia.1 Jane S.'s father was Thomas W. Meadows and her mother was Elizabeth Breeding. Her paternal grandparents were James Meadows and Catherine Boswell. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Mitchell, James, Thomas W., Emanuel, William T., Henry, Elizabeth, Francis E., Annie, Mary Catherine and Harriett Clementine. She was the second oldest of the twelve children. She died before July 1862.1 -
