Emanuel Meadows 
Emanuel was born in September 1836 in Rockingham Co., Virginia.1 Emanuel's father was Thomas W. Meadows and his mother was Elizabeth Breeding. His paternal grandparents were James Meadows and Catherine Boswell. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Mitchell, James, Thomas W., William T., Henry, Jane S., Elizabeth, Francis E., Annie, Mary Catherine and Harriett Clementine. He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 78 on January 9th, 1915 in Harrisburg, Dauphin Co., Pennsylvania.1 General Notes
