Isabel was born about 1266 in Of, Pembroke, County Cork, Ireland.1 Isabel's father was Guillaume De Lusignan Valence and her mother was Joan Munchensy. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh Hugues X De Lusignan and Isabella De Taillefer; her maternal grandparents were Warin Munchensy and Joane Marshall. She was an only child.
