Thomas II was born about 1184 in Boves, Somme, France.1   Thomas II's father was Raoul De Coucy and his mother was Alix Ou Adélaïde De Dreux.  His paternal grandparents were Enguerrand II De Coucy and Agnes De Beaugency; his maternal grandparents were Robert Count Of Dreux*** and Agnes De Vaudemont. He had three brothers and a sister, named Enguerrand, Raoul, Robert and Agnes.  He was the second oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and six half-sisters, named Gaucher III de, Yolande De, Ade, Isabeau, Agnes, Mahaut and Eléonore.  He died in 1253.  He was buried in Foigny, France.1 1 


Thomas II's family with Mahaut (Mathilde) De Rethel

‌Thomas II and Mahaut (Mathilde) were married in a religious ceremony about 1210 in Rethel, Ardennes, France.1   They had two sons and four daughters, named Thomas III, Jean, Yolande, Felicite, Agnes and Elisende (Alison).
