Raoul was born in 1080 in Of, Beaugency, Loiret, France.1 Raoul's father was Lancelin De Baugency and his mother was Alberge or Adelberge. His paternal grandparents were Seigneur Of Baugency Lancelin and Paule Maine. He had two sisters named Alice and Hildegarde. He died at the age of 50 in 1130.1 General Notes
