Maud Matilda was born about 1080 in Of, Valois, France.1   Maud Matilda's father was Hugh Crepi of France and her mother was Adelaide de Vermandois.  Her paternal grandparents were Henri I Capet of France and Anna Yaroslavna; her maternal grandparents were Herbert IV De Vermandois and Adelaide De Vexin. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Raoul I de, Henry Chaumont de, Simon de, William de, Duke Of, Constance de, Beatrice de, Isabel Elizabeth De, NN de and Agnes de.  She died in 1130.1

‌Maud Matilda and Raoul were married in a religious ceremony in 1090 in Beaugency, Loiret, France.1   They had two daughters named Mathilde and Agnes.
