Felicite was born about 1217 in Vervins, Aisne, France.1 Felicite's father was Thomas II De Coucy and her mother was Mahaut (Mathilde) De Rethel. Her paternal grandparents were Raoul De Coucy and Alix Ou Adélaïde De Dreux; her maternal grandparents were Hugues De Rethel and Felicite De Broyes. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas III, Jean, Yolande, Agnes and Elisende (Alison). She was the third youngest of the six children. She died in 1307.1 General Notes
