Enguerrand II De was born in 1105 in Boves, Somme, France and his baptism took place in 1148.1 Enguerrand II De's father was Thomas De Marle De Coucy and his mother was Melisinde De Crecy. His paternal grandparents were Enguerrand De Boves De Coucy and Adele Ada De Roucy; his maternal grandparents were Guy II The Red De Montlhery and Adelaide De Crecy. He had a sister named Millicent.
