Her paternal grandparents were Enguerrand II De Coucy and Agnes De Beaugency; her maternal grandparents were Baudouin IV Count Of Hainault and Alix De Namur. She had three sisters named Ade, Isabeau and Agnes. She was the oldest of the four children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Enguerrand, Thomas II, Raoul, Robert and Agnes.
