Alix was born about 1124 in Namur, Namur, Belgium.1   Alix's father was Godefroi Count of Namur and her mother was Ermisende of Luxembourg.  Her paternal grandparents were III Albert and Ida Billung of Saxony; her maternal grandparents were Konrad I Count Of Luxembourg and Clemence Of Poitou. She had a brother and three sisters, named Henry the Blind, Beatrice de, Alice Countess Of and Clemence of. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry De, Hugo IX, Elizabeth Of and Mathilda.  She died in November 1168.1

‌Alix and Baudouin IV Count Of were married in a religious ceremony about 1130 in Namur, Namur, Belgium.1   They had a son and two daughters, named Baudouin VII Count Of, Agnes and Lauretty (Laurence).
