Robert I was born about 1011 in Bourgogne, France and his baptism took place in Burgundy (Aka Robert the Old).1   Robert I's father was II Robert and his mother was Constance De Taillefer.  His paternal grandparents were Hugh Capet of France and Adelheid Von Saxony; his maternal grandparents were William Taillefer and Adelaide De Anjou. He had a brother and three sisters, named Henri I Capet of, Adele, Princess of France and Hadewide.  He died in Fleury-Sur-Ouche, France, France.  He was buried in St Seine Abbey, Semur, France.1 1
