Sir William , Earl of Northampton was born in 1312 in of Caldecot,Northampton,England.1   Sir William , Earl of Northampton's father was Humphrey VIII de Bohun Count of Holland and his mother was Elizabeth Plantagenet Princess of England.  His paternal grandparents were Humphrey VII de Bohun Earl of Essex and Maud De FIENNES COUNTESS OF HEREFORD AND ESSEX; his maternal grandparents were Edward I, "Longshanks" Plantagenet King of England and Eleanor de Castilla. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John , Earl of Hereford & Essex, Edward, Humphrey IX de, Gilbert de, Edward de, Æneas de, Eleanor de, Margaret de, Isabel de and Agnes de.  He died at the age of 48 on September 16th, 1360 in Walden Abbey,Essex.1
