Eleanor was born in 1230 in Brecon,Breconshire,Wales.1   Eleanor's father was William V De Braose Lord of Abergavenny and her mother was Eve MARSHALL.  Her paternal grandparents were Reginald , Baron Abergavenny De Braose and Grace de Briwere; her maternal grandparents were William MARSHALL [Earl Of Pembrok and Isabel Fitzgilbert De Clare. She had a brother and six sisters, named Peter, Eva, Maud, Isabela, Matilda, Ela and Joan. She had a half-brother named Sir William II of Undy and Penhow.  She died after 1252 in Llanthony Priory (Gloucester),Gloucestershire,England.1

‌Eleanor and Humphry "the Younger" VI were married in a religious ceremony.1   They had two sons and two daughters, named Humphrey VII de, Gilbert, Agnes and Alianore.
