Aymer De was born about 1160 in Of,Angouleme,Charente,France.  Aymer De's father was Guillaume (William) IV Taillefer [COUNT OF ANGOUL and his mother was Marguerite de Turenne.  His paternal grandparents were Wulgrin (Vulgrin) II Taillefer [COUNT OF ANGOUL and Ponce de la Marche; his maternal grandparents were Raymond I Viscount of Turenne and Maud Countess of Perche. He had two brothers and a sister, named Wulgrin III, Aimar III and Adelmonis. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Ebles VI, Adhemar V Boson, Mathilde De, Matebrune and Alix.  He died in 1218 in L'Abbey La Couro.  He was buried in L'Abbeylacouroun.
