Alice (Alix) (Adela) Countess was born about 1014 in Roucy,France.  Alice (Alix) (Adela) Countess' father was Ebles I Roucy [Count] and her mother was Beatrice Countess of Hainault.  Her paternal grandparents were Gilbert (Giselbert) de Roucy and Miss de Macon; her maternal grandparents were Rainer IV Count of Hainault and Adwige (Avoise), Princess France. She had two sisters named Aelis De and Avoise de.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died about 1063.1
