Adelaide de was born in 1038.  Adelaide de's father was Hildouin IV De Montdidier and her mother was Alice (Alix) (Adela) Countess Roucy.  Her paternal grandparents were Hilduin II de Roucy and Lesseline de Rameru; her maternal grandparents were Ebles I Roucy [Count] and Beatrice Countess of Hainault. She had two brothers and eight sisters, named Ebles II, Andre de Roucy, Isabel of, Adela De, Margaret, Adelheid Von, Ade, Beatrice De, Ade De and Felicitas Queen of.  She was the second oldest of the eleven children.  She died after 1104.

‌Adelaide de and Guy II Count of Rochefort de were married in a religious ceremony before 1082 in France.  They had two daughters named Melisende and Lucienne.
