Henry I "The Fowler" King of was born in 0876 in Germany and his baptism took place in 0876 in Saxony - Heinrich.1   Henry I "The Fowler" King of's father was Otto "The Illustrious" Duke of Saxony and his mother was Hedwige Friuli duchess Saxony.  His paternal grandparents were Ludolph The Great of Saxony and Oda Billung; his maternal grandparents were Arnulf I of Carinthia King of Germany and Oda of Bavaria. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Saxony, Thangmar, Liudolf Prince of, (?) von, Oda of, Dtr of Otto the Great of and Mechtild von. He had two half-sisters named Hedwig of and Oda.  He died in Mensleben,Sachsen,Germany.  He was buried in Quedlinburg.1

‌Henry I "The Fowler" King of and Countess Matilda were married in a religious ceremony about 0909 in Saxony (his 2nd wife).2   They had six sons and five daughters, named Heinrich I Count of, Henry I, Henrich II (I) Duke of (Bavaria), Bruno I, Archbishop of, Otto I "The Great" of, Otto I, Daughter of Henry I of, Gerberga of, Hedwige, Hedwig or Hartwige and Saxony.
