Heinrich I Count of was born about 0914 in Saxony - son of Henry I the Fowler.  Heinrich I Count of's father was Henry I "The Fowler" King of Germany and his mother was Countess Matilda Ringelheim Queen of the Germans.  His paternal grandparents were Otto "The Illustrious" Duke of Saxony and Hedwige Friuli duchess Saxony; his maternal grandparents were Theodoric Ringelheim Count of and Ludmilla Ragnhildis Countess Of Ringelheim. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Henry I, Henrich II (I) Duke of (Bavaria), Bruno I, Archbishop of, Otto I "The Great" of, Otto I, Daughter of Henry I of, Gerberga of, Hedwige, Hedwig or Hartwige and Saxony. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Thangmar, Sachsen and (?) von.  He died in 0955 in Bavaria (Duke of Bavaria.
