Eleanor de was born about 1306 in <,Hereford,Herefordshire,England>.1   Eleanor de's father was Humphrey VIII de Bohun Count of Holland and her mother was Elizabeth Plantagenet Princess of England.  Her paternal grandparents were Humphrey VII de Bohun Earl of Essex and Maud De FIENNES COUNTESS OF HEREFORD AND ESSEX; her maternal grandparents were Edward I, "Longshanks" Plantagenet King of England and Eleanor de Castilla. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named John , Earl of Hereford & Essex, Edward, Humphrey IX de, Gilbert de, Sir William , Earl of Northampton, Edward de, Æneas de, Margaret de, Isabel de and Agnes de.  She died on October 7th, 1363.1

‌Eleanor de and Thomas de were married in a religious ceremony on April 8th, 1340 in <,St. Clement's,Oxford,England>.1   They had two daughters named Thomasine and Alianore de.
