Eleanor de was born in 1244 in Burgos,Castilla,España.1   Eleanor de's father was Fernando Alfonsez III King of Castilla y León and her mother was Joan de Dammartin.  Her paternal grandparents were Alfonso Fernandez IX Rey de Castilla y Leon and Berenguela Reina de Castilla; her maternal grandparents were Simon II , Count of Aumale de Dammartin and Marie de Ponthieu. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Alfonso X "El Sabio" Rey de, Ferdinand de, Manuel Fernandez de and Eleanor Infanta of Castile and.  She died at the age of 46 on November 29th, 1290 in Lincolnshire,England.  She was buried on December 16th, 1290 in Westminster Abbey,Middlesex,England.1 1

‌Eleanor de and Edward I, "Longshanks" Plantagenet King of were married in a religious ceremony after August 5th, 1254 in ,Burgos,Burgos,Spain.2   They had four sons and eleven daughters, named Henry Plantagenet Prince of, Alphonso Plantagenet Prince of, Edward II, King, John Plantagenet Prince of, Eleanor Plantagenet of, Katherine Princess of, Joan Plantagenet Princess of, Isabel Princess Of, Margaret, Berengaria, Princess Of, Mary Plantagenet Princess Of, Alice, Princess Of, Elizabeth Plantagenet Princess of, Beatrice, Princess Of and Blanche, Princess Of.
