Emma de was born about 1023 in ,Conteville,,France.  Emma de's father was Harlevin (Herlouin) Viscomte de Conteville and her mother was Harlette de Falaise.  Her paternal grandparents were Jean of Tonnbridge De Conteville and Jean , wife of John of Tonsburgh; her maternal grandparents were Fulbert de Falaise and Duxia de Falaise. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Odo (Eudes) of, Robert Count de, Odo de, Miss de, Mathilde de and Muriel de.  She was the oldest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Ralph of, William "The Conqueror" of and Adelaide.


Emma de's family with Richard "Le Goz" d'Avranches

‌Emma de and Richard "Le Goz" were married in a religious ceremony about 1050 in <,Averanches,Normandy,France>.  They had three sons and seven daughters, named Hugh "Vras" "Le Gros" "Lupus", Hugh "Lupus" D', Toustien II De, Helisende D', Albreda D', Maud (Margaret), Judith, Judith (Le Goz), Arbella Loup and Arbella Loup D'.
