Odo (Eudes) of was born in 1030.  Odo (Eudes) of's father was Harlevin (Herlouin) Viscomte de Conteville and his mother was Harlette de Falaise.  His paternal grandparents were Jean of Tonnbridge De Conteville and Jean , wife of John of Tonsburgh; his maternal grandparents were Fulbert de Falaise and Duxia de Falaise. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Robert Count de, Odo de, Emma de, Miss de, Mathilde de and Muriel de.  He was the second oldest of the seven children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Ralph of, William "The Conqueror" of and Adelaide.  He died at the age of 66 in February 1096 in Palermo,Sicily.  He was buried in Palermo Cathedral,Sicily.1 1
