Hugh "Lupus" D' was born about 1050 in Of,Avranches,Normandy,France.1   Hugh "Lupus" D''s father was Richard "Le Goz" d'Avranches and his mother was Emma de Conteville.  His paternal grandparents were Toustien De Gernon Le Goz (Lord Heismar) and Judith De Montandlier; his maternal grandparents were Harlevin (Herlouin) Viscomte de Conteville and Harlette de Falaise. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Hugh "Vras" "Le Gros" "Lupus", Toustien II De, Helisende D', Albreda D', Maud (Margaret), Judith, Judith (Le Goz), Arbella Loup and Arbella Loup D'.  He died on July 27th, 1101 in St Werburgh's,Chester,Cheshire,England.2
