Joseph Guy Waldrip 
Joseph Guy was born on January 24th, 1873 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Joseph Guy's father was Asa Melton Waldrip and his mother was Martha Thomas Sears. His paternal grandparents were William Waldrip and Margaret Flowers; his maternal grandparents were John A. Sears and Tabitha Jane Buckner. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John William, George Sanford, James Robert, Asa Franklin, Edward Stewart, Smith Graham, Margaret Tabitha, Ann Marvin, Harriet McCary and Effie C.. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 91 on February 3rd, 1964 in Coosa Co., AL.
