Frances Jane Spradley 
Frances Jane was born in 1839 in Montgomery, Montgomery Co., AL.1 Frances Jane's father was Warren Charles Spradley and her mother was Alcey D. Malone. Her paternal grandparents were James, Sr. Spradley and Mary Manning. She had six brothers and two sisters, named John, Michael Decalb Charles, Chapman Levi, James John, Bryant Augustus, Zachariah Tucker, Sarah Ann and Caroline Amelia. She was the third youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 79 on April 3rd, 1918 in Crenshaw Co. AL. Mrs. Francis Morgan, wife of Uncle Charles H. Morgan, died at Honoraville
Friday and her remains were tenderly laid away at Honoraville Cemetery
Saturday. Mrs. Morgan had raised a large family and was one of the best
mothers of Crenshaw County. She is survived by her husband Uncle Charlie
Morgan and five sons as follows: John W. Morgan, T. J. Morgan, Dr. Manley
L. Morgan, Frank Morgan, and Eugene Morgan. She lived to a ripe old age
and has many friends who will regret to learn of her death. (1)
