times removed, on 21 April 2000 in the Alabama Archives, Montgomery, AL.
I have visited the battle at Salem Church twice; once in July of 1996 &
July of 1998. As a boy, while living in Spotsylvania Co., VA, the family
would drive by the Salem Church battle site numerous times to go shopping
in Fredericksburg, VA. There are two statues at the battle site. One is
of a Confederate soldier facing the north and the other a Union soldier
facing the south. Ron Bridges - 22 Apr 2000.
