Manley Lemar Morgan 
Manley Lemar was born on January 15th, 1871 in Crenshaw Co., AL.1 Manley Lemar's father was Charles Harton Morgan and his mother was Frances Jane Spradley. His maternal grandparents were Warren Charles Spradley and Alcey D. Malone. He had six brothers and a sister, named John Wesley, James Bryant, Thomas Jefferson Ira, William Washington, Charles Frank, Joseph Eugene and Coro Frances. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 70 on May 13th, 1941 in Crenshaw Co., AL. He was buried in Emmaus Cemetery, Luverne, Crenshaw Co., AL..1 1 General Notes

ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS
That the board of persons of the medical Society of the County of
Crenshaw acting as a board of medical examiners under the law of the
state of Alabama and under the instructions of the medical Association
thereof hereby Certify that MANLEY LAMAR MORGAN, a citizen of Crenshaw
County and a graduate of medicine of the Birmingham Medical College in
1903 is authorized to practice medicine in all its branches in the State
of Alabama under the law.
This Certificate is issued after a through examination of Dr. Manley
Lamar Morgan in all departments of medical knowledge included in the
Schedule prescribed by the State Medical Association and in all of there
he is found to be well qualified. Done in the term of Luverne Alabama
April Anno Domini One Thousand Nine Hundred and Three.
