Her paternal grandparents were James Stephen Spradley and Julia Boone; her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Franklin Castellaw and Mary Louisa Jordan. She had a brother and four sisters, named John Kirby Smith, Ella Melissa, Mary Julia, Sarah Frances and Carrie Missouri. She was the youngest of the six children. Porath - Spradley Marriage
At the residence of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Berry, in the presence of a few
intimate friends. Mr. Gustave F. Parath and Miss Ada Lee Spradley were
quietly married on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Elder Charles I.
Talley performing the ceremony. There were no attendants, the bride,
gowned in white lace, entering with the groom.
Mr. and Mrs. Porath left during the afternoon for Troy, to visit friends,
after which they will return to Montgomery to make their home.
